She received her undergraduate degree in social work from Ft. Hays State University and her master\u2019s degree in social work from the University of Kansas. Ms. Wilson is also a registered yoga alliance 200-hour certified yoga instructor. Ms. Wilson has taught yoga in the community for 8 years. She has a special interest in combining the physical practices of yoga to incorporate the body in the therapeutic process as well as breathing practices to assist in balancing the autonomic nervous system. Ms. Wilson has completed trauma-informed yoga training with Street Yoga, Connection Coalition, and Veterans Yoga Project. She also makes use of the approaches published by Bessel Van Der Kolk, M. D. (The Body Keeps the Score) and David Emerson, Elizabeth Hopper (Overcoming Trauma Through Yoga: Reclaiming Your Body).
