Ms. Olmos is a clinical professional counselor and clinical addiction counselor. Prior to becoming a counselor, she spent much of her career in a corporate business setting. Her counseling experience includes individual and group therapy in a residential setting treating adolescents with complex trauma and attachment issues and a variety of entrenched diagnoses. She has also worked with adult substance users in a group setting.
Ms. Olmos has also received a specialization certificate from MidAmerica Nazarene University as a Sex Addiction Therapy Provider, has extensive training in using EMDR to treat addictions and attachment issues as well as training in neurofeedback and biofeedback. She is a current member of NAADAC, The Association for Addiction Professionals, SASH, The Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health, and EMDRIA, the EMDR International Association.
