Jamie DeNoya Dempewolf

Jamie DeNoya Dempewolf is a master’s level social worker with an emphasis on trauma informed care modalities and supporting people with exceptionalities. She completed her masters at Washburn University.  While pursuing her master’s degree, Jamie worked full-time at KVC Behavioral Healthcare, Inc and quickly raised through the ranks and became a Permanency Supervisor, responsible for overseeing case managers and family support workers and acting as a liaison between those she managed at KVC, and outside agencies assigned to all the cases she was responsible for.

This relationship enabled her to move into the Program Director role within CASA of Shawnee County.  Shortly after being hired, Jamie moved into the role of Executive Director where she managed the day-to-day operations, worked with the court and other agencies, and created funding opportunities for the agency to ensure the support and growth of volunteers. Learning the administrative side of running an agency enabled Jamie to hone her skills and help her determine her focus of working with and helping others achieve optimal levels to perform their best. She has worked closely with the court  and in July of 2020 Jamie was nominated as one of the YCWA’s 32nd Annual Women of Excellence Honorees.
