Kaci Wilson

Ms. Wilson is a masters level social worker with 13 years of experience in mental health, medical health, and child welfare settings.  She is familiar with the demands and complexities of medical and hospital systems having worked in pediatric and adult medical settings for six of those 13 years. She received her undergraduate degree in social work from Ft. Hays State University and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Kansas. Ms. Wilson is also a registered yoga alliance 200-hour certified yoga instructor. Ms. Wilson has taught yoga in the community for 8 years. She has a special interest in combining the physical practices of yoga to incorporate the body in the therapeutic process as well as breathing practices to assist in balancing the autonomic nervous system. Ms. Wilson has completed trauma-informed yoga training with Street Yoga, Connection Coalition, and Veterans Yoga Project. She also makes use of the approaches published by Bessel Van Der Kolk, M. D. (The Body Keeps the Score) and David Emerson, Elizabeth Hopper (Overcoming Trauma Through Yoga: Reclaiming Your Body). Ms. Wilson has been a member of the PRC® team since March of 2021.
